On 5 and 6 October, a two-day conference organized by Stichting Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI) will take place in in the Peace Palace in The Hague, the Netherlands. The two-day conference is all about sharing inclusive dialogues on MBBI’s mission “Keep people at the heart of conflict in charge”. For this, Stichting MBBI is bringing together inspiring men and women from the heart of conflict, with representatives of military, journalists, lawyers, diplomats, experts on health and climate, politicians, NGO’s, GO’s, IGO’s and businesses from all over the world.
The day before the conference, Wednesday October 4, Douglas E. Noll will give a masterclass aimed at “people who often have to negotiate and problem-solve in tense, escalated situations”. Before Doug Noll started in mediation and peacebuilding, he was one of the world’s top lawyers. In his masterclass, participants learn how to quickly and effectively “De-Escalate Strong Emotions in Negotiation, Diplomacy and Conflicts” in order to work well in tense situations. It is possible to attend the masterclass separate from the two-day conference.
