Senator Leila de Lima sought a Senate inquiry into the series of killings targeting lawyers handling high-profile cases, thereby urging the appropriate Senate committee to conduct an investigation, in aid of legislation, that would ensure the safety and welfare of the members of the Philippine Bar.
