The present report supplements the main report and the mission reports presented by the Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers to the Commission on Human Rights. Reference is made to principle 19 of the Basic Principles on the Role of Lawyers regarding circumstances where lawyers can be prevented from appearing before the court if disqualification is in accordance with national law and in conformity with these principles in Saudi Arabia.
