Addendum to the Report of the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention: Visit to Bahrein

The present report covers the result of a visit of the Working Group on Arbitrary detention in Bahrein. The Working Group reports that the instrument of Legislative Decree No. 26 of 1980 does not conform to the Basic Principles on the Role of Lawyers, especially Principles 24 and 25 on professional associations of lawyers and Principles 26-29 on disciplinary proceedings.
