The Law Society of Upper Canada expresses grave concern about the administrative conviction of lawyer Oleg Volchek in Belarus, thereby urging the Government of Belarus to comply with Belarus’s obligations under international human rights laws, including the United Nations’ Basic Principles on the Role of Lawyers.
